Baking is such an amazing way to include a little magic, because you can really pack in the ingredients! Every herb, spice, fruit and vegetable (and tree, fungi etc) has magickal properties, so its easy to fill your recipes with delicious intention.

One ingredient that is vastly underrated is dandelion, specifically its roots. Dandelion roots are packed with healing benefits, and contain vitamin C, zinc, and magnesium which are great for depression and immunity. The root made into a tea makes a great coffee replacement in both taste and energizing effect minus the jitters. It also helps your body detoxify, which means it helps your liver and kidney function.

If you're wondering where to find dandelion root (besides your backyard *always use caution when foraging in urban areas that may use chemical pesticides) check the tea section at your local health foods store, on Amazon here, or from Mountain Rose Herbs (a sustainable and ethical online herb shop).

I hope you enjoy this recipe! If you make it I would love to hear about how it went! Tag me in a photo on instagram @_cottagecraft_ or shoot me a DM🧡

I hope this day is filled to the brim with joy, love and delicious food.

Blessed Be,

✨Alicia P.✨
